Sweet Sassy Molassy

As a true son of The Shire relocated to the Land of Cotton, of course there have been some things I have come to miss: Cheesesteaks, Turkey Hill Iced Tea, TasteyKakes and cheaper weed. Sometimes I even miss some of my friends. However, Southern grocer king Kroger has recently (in the past 10 years) bought out Turkey Hill, the minit market not the dairy (two seperate enterprises). Due to this kill or be killed marketplace, TasteyKakes and Turkey Hill Iced Tea and other beverages are now being sold right here in the Heart of Dixie. I'm usually not a religious man but I had to let out a "Halleluia" the day i saw DGT in my local grocer's freezer.

Looks like the people at Turkey Hill aren't just happy to make it to the tourny...they wanna win. While I was watching this weeks Office i caught a commercial for Turkey Hill Iced Tea...imported from Lancaster County and going for the jugular of the refrigerated iced tea market. I took great pride in reviewing the commercial because the first drink shown is none other then my go to non-alcoholic beverage Diet Green Tea...get on the floor and shake your bad thing.... As for a good cheesesteak there is a place to get one(pretty expensive though) , however no place to get a great cheesesteak...still waitin for that cheap weed to make it's way down here...Come on Kroger show me what you got in your produce department.
